The Social Action Committee provides congregation members the opportunity to learn and become involved in meaningful social justice activities and to foster a synagogue culture that integrates social justice into our congregational life.
The Social Action Committee meets monthly as a joint committee with the Social Action Committee of Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas. Our combined effort enables us to reach a broad Jewish base and strengthens our ability to provide meaningful educational programs and social justice engagement opportunities to members of both congregations.
Any member of the congregation or any member of the community who worships at Temple Concord is welcome. Temple membership is not a requirement.
Committee chair is Robert Sarason: 315-446-7851 or rsarason@pprsr.org.
