Teen / High School - Temple Concord Syracuse

Epstein

8th-12th graders continue their education in the community high school, The Rabbi Jacob H. Epstein School of Jewish Studies, Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm.  This year classes will be held at the Temple Adath Yeshurun. Cantor Pepperstone is the new Director of Epstein, now in its 45th year.

The purpose of the school is to educate students in Judaic studies and Hebrew language after the age of b’nai mitzvah in a caring environment that promotes positive Jewish identity and an opportunity to socialize with other Jewish teens.  Enrollment in the Epstein school provides students with a way to stay Jewishly connected in a challenging and rewarding learning environment.  The student body embraces all the Jewish teens in Central New York.  Congregational rabbis of our community will be on the teaching staff, including Rabbi Fellman.

Epstein meets on Tuesdays September 9-May 5 (No class on 11/11, 11/25, 12/23. 12/30, 2/17, or 4/7)
